BP Rolls top up Andover Festival of Motoring Charity Fund

BP Rolls Automotive have made a donation to the Andover Festival of Motoring, to top up the funds raised by the event in September last year. The event attracted over 5000 visitors and saw 100 vehicles on display in the High Street, raising £500 for the Anton Rotary Club.
BP Rolls have donated £250 to the charity fund to be put towards supporting groups in the local community. The BP Rolls Group is a family run business established in Andover since 1966, with five units on the West Portway Industrial Estate covering automotive service and MOT testing, accident repair, commercial paint and bodywork, along with signs and graphics. The BP Rolls Automotive team attended Andover Festival of Motoring to promote their garage and displayed a selection of their sales cars.

“It was great to see such a popular event in Andover Town Centre, and we felt that it was worth more to us as a business than just putting £10 in the collection bucket, so we wanted to make a more substantial donation. As a local company we feel it is important to support these local events, which not only provide free entertainment for the residents of Andover, but do so much for the wider community.“
Andover Festival of Motoring was organised by Gemma Thompson from the Andover Town Centre Partnership, Sheryl Scott-Clarke and Hampshire Hot Rides with financial support from Test Valley Borough Council, Andover Town Council and the Tesco Bags of Help Scheme. Louise met with Barry Hawgood, President, Anton Rotary Club and Sheryl Scott-Clarke to present them with a cheque for the donation, and discuss sponsorship of this year’s event which will take place on Sunday 23rd September 2018.
